IT'S CLICK, CLICK, HELP.
Whether you’re an aging senior, a person with a physical disability, or a caregiver looking for something to help you make it through a transition — or just through the day — you’ve come to the right site.
Link-Age Aging Resource Connection is part of the national Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) network funded in part by an historical partnership between the Administration on Aging and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The chief goal of the ADRC is to create a single, coordinated system of information, access and assistance for persons age 50 and over and their families and caregivers and persons of all ages with physical disabilities. Link-Age serves residents of all income and health levels and also supplies information on positive aging issues.
Here, you’re just two clicks away from your local Indiana area agency on aging that can help you with everything from delivering a hot meal to explaining a new tax law or two. You can use our site two ways: 1) we’ll direct you to your local agency’s web site so you can get the help you need, or 2) you can search through our database for available resources in your community. The choice is up to you.
Link-Age is an evolving concept in Indiana and under construction. Not all Indiana area agencies on aging are part of Link-Age with Real Services (Area 2) and Generations (Area 13) the lone member agencies to date. Only local resources for those living in Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, St. Joseph, Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Knox, Martin and Pike counties can be found in the Link-Age database. However, many state and national resources are available as well.
At Link-Age, we understand that life can be hard enough, which is why we’re working so hard to make it a little easier. We like to think of it this way: everybody knows somebody who could use a little help. And with so many available resources, there’s probably one out there that’s just right for you and your family.
That’s where we come in. Young, old, or in between. Link-Age. The point for all the answers
